Software Engineer - Infrastructure

TekML is seeking an experienced Software Engineer to join the Software Engineering (Infrastructure) team.

What you will work on?

The Software Engineering (Infrastructure) team builds large distributed components. We’re looking for an experienced distributed systems engineer with outstanding technical and leadership skills. As a Software Engineer in Infrastructure you will collaborate with a variety of stakeholders and play an influential role in building tools and platforms that make it easier to create, deploy, and iterate on secure and highly available software.

Responsibilites

• Design, build, test and operationalize end to end Reliability infrastructure and solutions that will be integrated into various services
• Code using primarily C/C++, Java, and/or C#
• Participate and contribute to all the design discussions and code reviews within your team
• Analyze and improve efficiency, scalability, and stability of various system resources
• Deliver value through strong collaborative approach with multiple customers and stakeholders across the company

‍Minimum Qualifications

• 8+ years coding experience in C/C++, Java and/or C#, able to write highly optimized algorithms and have in depth experience with data structure and algorithms
• 4+ years coding experience in Perl, PHP, Hack or Python
• 4+ years experience building server applications
• Hands-on experience designing and building large scale distributed systems
• Obsession with customers and the capacity to communicate and represent customer feedback in many venues in order to influence the proper outcome
• B.S. or M.S. Computer Science or related technical field

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with operating system internals, filesystems, programming language design, compilers
• Familiarity with the common patterns and practices for building reliable software
